Numark Platinum Djay Pro

  
Here's my first attempt at a mapping for these two. Here are the differences between the labeled / default functions and this mapping:
- VU Meter doesn't work :(
- Cue buttons are screwy since Djay doesn't allow mapping for toggled buttons AFAIK. Cue 1 and Cue 2 set Cue 1 and Cue 2, Shift + Cue 1 and Shift + Cue 2 clear them, Cue 3 goes to Cue 1, Cue 4 goes to Cue 2.
- Touch bar only does seeking (and kind of weirdly), not FX

Mar 28, 2018  Numark has many DJ controller models like NV, NVII, Party Mix, NS6II, NS7III and DJ2GO2, but two of them are in the ” Best Selling ” category; Mixtrack Pro 3 and Mixtrack Platinum. Both of these controllers are ideal for beginner DJs and most features / functions are alike. Mixtrack Pro series have been in the market for many years, improved by the company and got three versions already. The Numark Mixtrack Platinum is a great 4‑deck/2‑channel solution for all entry-level DJs. Based on its predecessor's, the Platinum offers many exciting features including LCD display screens in each jog wheel. These screens give you easy access to information such as BPM, key and time remaining. If you have a MIDI controller that is currently not natively supported by djay Pro, you can still use it with djay Pro’s easy-to-use MIDI Learn feature. Simply connect the MIDI controller to your Mac, and follow the on-screen instructions to map the hardware controls to functions in djay Pro.

- 'Wheel' button toggles slip mode rather than scratch mode (touching the jogwheel enables scratch mode automatically)
- Sometimes pitch bending via the edges of the jogwheels doesn't work
Everything else should be good to go. Let me know if anyone can improve upon this, this is just my first attempt and I didn't see any others.

This is a mapping of the NUMARK DJ2GO2 for Djay Pro:mac/iOS fully matching the native Serato mapping !


Please note it's for DJ2GO2 (version 2), it hasn't been tested with DJ2GO (version 1).


It was created by Jay Neural for DJ.MG (DJ Mega Gear).


It's mapped as close as possible to the layout printed on the hardware and as close possible to how it works with Serato.

Numark Mixtrack Platinum Traktor

Enable full Djay for iOS compatibility to the DJ2GO2 thanks to this mapping by following these steps :


- Launch iTunes


- Connect your iOS device and let it trust your computer when prompted


- Click on the tiny device icon that appears on the top of iTunes's main section


- Click on 'File Sharing' on the left


- Find the Djay app on the app's list


- Drag the mapping in the Documents section and wait until it's uploaded

- Disconnect your iPhone and connect your AMX through the USB Camera Kit (preferably USB3 version, otherwise a powered hub will be required)


Recommendations :


- I recommend disabling pre-listen auto-select mode before using this mapping (by clicking on the top-left headset icon and unchecking the auto-select box).


- Don't hesitate to post comments requesting fixes or new features. Notice this mapping's intend is to stay as close as possible to the original Serato behavior so if you wish to add other layers (when multiple modifiers will be possible) or add features that are very different from the original mapping, it'll be better to start a new project.
